The development and implementation of the state's capital improvement program is a costly and complex process and is the subject of much discussion and debate. This conference brings together state agencies and institutions, architects, landscape architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to discuss mutual concerns related to the planning, design and construction of state projects.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND – This conference will provide you with important information about the state construction process and will give you a better understanding of the state’s capital improvement program.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND – Representatives of state agencies and institutions, architects, landscape architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
CREDIT – Architects, attorneys and engineers will earn 6.5 credit hours by attending Monday, February 18 and 6.5 credit hours for attending Tuesday, February 19. Your Request for Certificate of Attendance forms must be turned in at the end of each day to receive credit. No exceptions. Partial credit will not be awarded. Your certificates will be e-mailed to you within six to eight weeks.
REGISTRATION – You will receive a map, cancellation policy, and hotel information with your confirmation via e-mail. Depending on your Internet service provider and/or your personal e-mail settings, e-mails from NC State University in regard to this registration process may be considered unsolicited and not be delivered to your in box. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation from NC State University, please check your spam file if you have one, or you may contact us at 919.515.2261 with any questions about your registration status.
LOCATION – The conference will be held at the McKimmon Conference & Training Center. The McKimmon Center is located near the main NC State University campus at the intersection of Western Boulevard and Gorman Street in Raleigh. Limited free parking is available at the Center.
