Interested North Carolina trade professionals are invited to participate in a full-day conference on innovative perspectives and applications in energy efficiency for manufacturers in the glass, chemical, forestry, mining and other energy-intensive industries. This conference is crucial for North Carolina businesses to learn how the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard (REPS) will affect your industrial operations. You will also get an overview of the future costs of energy and will learn of state, federal and utility programs that can benefit your efficiency and innovation efforts.
A workshop on combined heat and power (CHP) will be followed by an afternoon workshop on energy efficiency.
